In observance of the International Women’s Day (IWD) Celebration, the DA-Philippine Carabao Center conducted a Women’s Month Wellness Break Zumba activity among the employees.
This year’s observance focuses on the theme “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow” in recognition and celebration of the women and girls who are leading the charge on climate change adaptation and response and to honour their leadership and contribution towards a sustainable future.
Employees also strike the IWD #BreakTheBias pose to actively call out gender bias, discrimination, and stereotyping in the workplaces, communities, schools, universities and other areas. This also serves as a reminder of a gender equal world that is diverse, equitable, inclusive while differences are valued and celebrated.
Individually, we’re all responsible for our own thoughts and actions all day, every day.
Together, we can all break the bias on International Women’s Day and beyond.
